INTRODUCTION
It is God that created us to fulfill a particular purpose.  He also establishes us.  Jeremiah 33:2, Deuteronomy 32:6, 2 Samuel 7:12-16. God established several people, nations, cities, ministries and other things in the Bible.  Isaiah 62:7, Acts 16:5, Jeremiah 30:20.  God can also establish various areas of a person’s life, such as a person’s handiwork and marriage.   Only God can establish us because the Bible clearly tells us that whatever we have has been given to us by our Father in heaven. John 3:27. Promotion and wealth comes from Him.  Psalm 75:6, Deuteronomy 8:18.  If a man establishes you, he can bring you down.  If the devil and his kingdom establish you, they can bring you down also.  Not only can God establish you, but He can also raise His servants to establish you.  Even in the midst of adversity, God can still establish you.  Psalm 40:2.   In captivity, God can establish you as well, like He did for Daniel. Daniel 6:1-3, Jeremiah 29:28.
Divine establishment goes beyond divine promotion.  It is one thing to build a thing and quite another to establish it. Proverbs 24:3-4. There are several scriptures in the Bible that portray a picture of divine establishment.  This means that God's hand was in it. They were out of the ordinary.  They were supernatural.  Examples can be found in Joshua 24:13, Psalm 1:3, Isaiah 61:3, Isaiah 65:21-22,  and Jeremiah 17:8.

Prayer: O God arise and connect me to my divine helpers, in the name of Jesus.

Your feet are the symbol of your establishment. Therefore, if anything goes wrong with your feet in the spirit realm, you should address it as a matter of urgency or it will be difficult for you to be established.  The Bible counsels us to pay attention to our feet if we want to be established. Proverbs 4:26-27.  Dreams about legs being tied, amputated, withered, exchanged, crushed, mangled, buried, or diseased, should be taken seriously.  So should dreams of stepping on bad things such as blood and sacrifice; legs being heavy, slowing down your speed, or hindering your movement.  Today, no matter what condition your feet are in, God will resurrect and restore them in Jesus name.

PRAYER: O Lord by your mercy establish me in Your will.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ESTABLISHED?
To be established, is to be:

1.      Settled. 1 Chronicles 17:14, Ezekiel 36:11.
2.      Planted firmly. 2 Samuel 7:10, Jeremiah 17:8, Psalm 92:13.
3.      Built. Jeremiah 18:9, Jeremiah 24:6, Jeremiah 31:28
4.      Stabilized.
5.     Set up as opposed to being pulled down. In this case it is when God sets you up.
6.     Fixed and unmovable. 1 Chronicles 17:9
7.     Firmly rooted. Jeremiah 1:10.
8.     Secure and safe. Job 11:18, Jeremiah 33:16.
9.   Renowned. 2 Samuel 8:13-14.
10. To gain acceptance and recognition.

PRAYER:  O God, arise by all the power by which you are known as God and establish me.

WHO ARE THOSE THAT GOD WILL NOT ESTABLISH?
God in His word,The Bible, clearly tells us that He will not establish the following groups of people:

1.      The wicked. Proverb 12:3,19.
2.      The violent. Psalm 140:1.
3.      Evil speakers.  Psalm 140:1.
4.      The proud. Proverbs 15:25.
5.      Those that ill-treat the poor and less privileged. Proverbs 29:14.
6.      Those that build on and acquire wealth from the blood of others and other wicked ways.  Habakkuk 2:12, Jeremiah 17:11.
7.     The ungodly. Psalm 1:1-6.
8.     Idolaters.  Jeremiah 11:17.

PRAYER: O God arise by your power and establish me in every area of my life.

EXAMPLES OF THOSE GOD ESTABLISHED IN THE BIBLE?

2.     Samuel was established as a prophet and a ruler in Israel. 1 Samuel 3:20.

      2. O Lord take me from where I am  to where I should be according to your plan for my             life.

WHY DOES GOD ESTABLISH A PERSON?
1.    To get the glory out of it.  Isaiah 60:21.
2.   To enable us to fulfill His divine purpose for our lives. God created us for the purpose of establishing us in His will. Jeremiah 33:2.
3.    To get other nations, particularly unbelievers to acknowledge and to fear Him.  Jeremiah 33:9b.
4.    To fulfill a promise that He has made to you personally or to others such as your parents concerning you.  Jeremiah 33:14.
5.    Because He is the covenant keeping God who honors His word more than His name. Genesis 17:19, Genesis 9:9-11, Leviticus 26:9.
6.    So that you can bring forth fruit.  God is a farmer, that plants and expects a good reward for His labor. Jeremiah 12:2. God has invested in each of us and wants His investment bring forth fruit.  Mark 12:1, Luke 13:6, 1 Corinthians 3:6.

PRAYER: O God establish me by your mercy, in the name of Jesus.

1.    Through the written word.
2.   Through prophetic rhema word of God.
3.    Divine help such as angelic interventions.

WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU WANT GOD TO ESTABLISH YOU?
It is one thing to be established by God and quite another thing to remain established.  Several examples abound in the Bible of people that were established by God but later lost it.   A good example is Rehoboam. 2 Chronicles 12:1. Another is King Saul. 1 Samuel 13:13.  For God to establish you and for you to remain established, you should do the following:

1.      Get to know God and make Him your friend.
2.      Have faith in God. Abraham did and he and his posterity were established forever.  Galatians 3:6-9, Matthew 28:18, Psalm 62:11.
3.      Be humble. Moses was and God established him as the greatest prophet Israel had. 1 Peter 5:5.
4.      Delight yourself in God and His word. David did and God established him as king and his descendants as kings forever.
5.      Trust in God. Jeremiah 17:7-8.
6.      Submit yourself totally to God. 1 Peter 5:8-9.
7.      Resist the devil. 1 Peter 5:8-9.
8.      Do not be ignorant.  You should know who God is, who the devil is, and who you are in Christ.  Hosea 4:6.
9.     Get wisdom and understanding. Proverbs 24:3.
10. Fear God.  Psalm 119:38.
11. Cooperate with God and not the devil.  Do be your own worst enemy. Psalm 75:6.
12.  Believe God, His prophets, and His promises for your life.  2 Chronicles 20:20(b), Romans 1:11, Isaiah 7:9.
13. Pray.  Learn to wait upon the Lord in fasting and prayers, asking God to establish you.  Jeremiah 33:3, Isaiah 40:31, 2 Chronicles 1:9, Proverbs 16:3.
14. Be disciplined both in physical and spiritual things. Apostle Paul was.  1 Corinthians 9:24-27.
15. Let God’s genuine prophets pray for you.  Gifts can be imparted.  Romans 1:11.
16. Be patient. Do not run ahead of God.  Abraham was and God established his house after 25 years of waiting for an heir.
17. Refuse to be discouraged or frustrated. David refused to be and God eventually established his kingship in Israel. 1 Samuel 30:6.
18. Be diligent and it will bring you before kings.
19.  Obey God. Isaiah 1:8-9, Deuteronomy 28:9.
20.  Be faithful.  Psalm 89:2.
21.  Be righteousness and godly. Isaiah 54:14, Psalm 1:1-4, Proverbs 25:5, Psalm 7:9, Job 36:7.   Stay away from idols and idolatry.  2 Chronicles 12:1.
