RECLAIMING MY TRAPPED BLESSINGS

SCRIPTURES: John 11:1- 45.

1. O Lord, today hasten to perform your promises in my life, in the name of Jesus.

3. O Lord help me to identify and deal with any weakness in me that is hindering my progress, in the name of Jesus.

4. I reject the spirit of the tail and claim the spirit of the head, the name of Jesus.

5. I bind all deception and manipulation targeted at my life, in the name of Jesus

6. I refuse to fail at the edge of my miracles, in the name of Jesus.

INTRODUCTION

There are certain people we should not meet in life.  There are also certain places we should not visit also.  This is because visiting such places and meeting such people can create problems for you that will haunt you for the rest of your life. Now make the following declarations:

1.    Power to be at the right place at the right time fall upon me in the name of Jesus.

2.    Revelation that will put me at the right place at the right time, I receive it by the power in the blood of Jesus.

A major problem that can result from being at the wrong place at the wrong time or being with the wrong people is what we are discussing here today.  The problem is simply that your blessings can be satanically transferred, exchanged, stolen, or buried.

Many every night find themselves in their former houses where they grew up; the their elementary and high school and even the university that they attended. Sometimes their things are buried in pits in their former house.  Sometimes they are thrown in the dustbin, pits where they threw trash.  At other times, they are buried in the pit toilet where they put the feces. At other times, their precious things have been hung at the top of very tall trees spiritually that would be very difficult to access physically.  They may also be buried in the markets, village center, rivers, and the palaces of their hometowns and places of origin.

The agenda of powers that trap blessings is to separate the blessings from their owners so that they cannot derive any benefits from them.  These are things that God had ordained to make them to prosper and to move their lives forward. They are to hinder people’s progress and to prevent them from being what God has ordained them to be.

2. You my blessings in captivity, wherever you are, jump out and locate me by fire, in the name of Jesus.

WHAT ARE THE POSSESSIONS TO BE RETRIEVED?

Some of the possessions that are caged include the following:

1.    Brains.

      2.  Books that represent major examinations that you need to pass to move forward in life. 

3.    Your glory, your virtues, your kingdom.

4.    Documents of advancement.

These include contracts for your business, certificates, diplomas, visas, and foreign citizenship papers.

5. Wedding rings and your earrings representing your glory.

6. Good health.

      Prayer: My glory will not suffer loss in the name of Jesus.

     5.    Trophies, books, music and other gifts.

WHERE ARE PEOPLE’S BLESSINGS TRAPPED?

Places where people’s blessings are trapped include the following:

1.    Former schools such as elementary, high school and university.

2.  Former homes where you grew up.

3.    Former environment where you grew up.

      For example, in the markets, palace, village square there.

4.   Demonic environment.   

5.  Unfriendly friends.

     6.   Demonic sexual partners - Indiscriminate sex.

     7.   Former Office.

     8.   Graveyard.

      9.   Forests.

      10. Wicked Rivers

POWERS THAT TRAP PEOPLE’S BLESSINGS

These are the powers that you have to go on the offensive, storm their camp; and retrieve your confiscated possessions.  Agents that trap people’s blessings include the following:

1.    Foundational powers

    These include ancestral spirits and household witchcraft powers.

2.  Wicked Men. Jeremiah 5:25-26, Acts 16:25-40.

These include Balaams, satanic intermediaries hired to curse people.

3.    Satan. 2 Timothy 2:26.

4.   Demonic environment.   

5.   Evil feeders.

           This can happen from eating in satanic places

      6.  Demonic sexual partners - Indiscriminate sex.

      7.  Enchanters and diviners

      8.  Witchcraft powers

      9.  Household wickedness powers

    10.  Familiar spirits

    11.  Marine powers

    12.  Wicked authority figures

    13. Spirit spouse

    14. Strongmen

Prayers

1.    Powers holding on to my blessings, release them and die, in     

           the name of Jesus.

2.    Every bitter river from my foundation assigned to drown my glory, dry up, in the name of Jesus.

SYMPTOMS INDICATING YOUR BLESSINGS ARE TRAPPED

            When your blessings are trapped and need to be retrieved there will be:

1.    Limitations and embargoes in life.

      Life is seriously limited because wicked powers are trading with your goodness that should move you forward in life.

Prayer: Every power limiting my life and destiny, your time is up, fall down and die, 

in the name of Jesus.

2.   Non achievement.

3.   Terrible dreams especially of going back to places from the past where these blessings were trapped. Seeing swallowing pits in your dreams such as pit latrines.

4.   Spirit of backwardness.

5.   Hardship

      Life is a struggle

6.   Profitless hard work

Prayer: Every power that wants me to labor in vain, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.

7.  Snail, tortoise, or millipede anointing

Very slow or no progress

Prayer: Anointing of snail, tortoise, and millipede operating in my life, dry up by  

fire, in the name of Jesus.

8.   Antagonism, hatred, and rejection

HOW DO YOU RETRIEVE YOUR TRAPPED BLESSINGS?

1.    Get to know our Lord Jesus and to become His friend.

He is the only one that can help you get your trapped possessions back from the camp of the enemy.

2.  Bring quality repentance before God and ask Him to forgive your sins and those of your ancestors using psalm 32 and 51.

3.    Take a moment and examine your life.  Do constantly have dreams of being in various places from the past such as the house where you grew up, old school, old church, and old apartments?

4.   Pray inquiry prayers.

5.  Go into warfare prayers against the powers that have trapped your blessings and are refusing to let go of them. Pray against the strongmen and warehouses holding them captive. caged your life and destiny.  Luke 11:22.

6.    Pray prayer of restoration to recover your possession that are trapped in various places.

7.   Barricade your life and possessions with the blood of Jesus and the fire of God.

INTRODUCTION

The word helper was first mentioned in the Bible in Genesis 2:18. It was used in reference to marriage and a marital partner. The Amplified Bible reads:

“Now the Lord God said It is not good that man should be alone, “I will make him a helper meet for him.”

There are people that God has ordained right from heaven to assist you and help you to fulfill your destiny. Such people are known as destiny helpers.  Divine helpers are your God ordained or God sent helpers. 

Ultimately, God is our helper. Psalm 121. The Bible even refers to Him as the Father of the fatherless.  Psalm 10:14, Luke 1:69, John 14:16, 26, Hebrew 13:6. God has promised never to leave or forsake us.  Psalm 27:10, Isaiah 49:15-16.  He guides us to our helpers in the physical. This is because He orders our steps. Psalm 37:23. As His children, He leads us by His Spirit. In fact, being led by Spirit of God is one of the evidence that we are God’s children.  Romans 8:14.

Do you need help in any area of your life today, career, business, marital, health, or financial? I prophesy over your life that God who is the ultimate helper will visit you this season and make your joy to be full in Jesus name.

Prayers

1.    Holy Spirit, connect me to my helpers, in the name of Jesus.

2.    Holy Spirit, plug me to the socket of favor, in the name of Jesus.

CATEGORIES OF HELPERS

God sends help in any way, size, and shape.  He also sends them from wherever He pleases.  Here are some listed below:

1.    Encouragers like Barnabas in the Bible 

      He took Paul under his wings when others shunned him.

2.  Counselors

Jethro offered Moses great counsel on how to lead the Israelites.

3.    Good friends

A great one in the Bible was Jonathan, the friend of David who delivered him from his murderous father King Saul. David reciprocated by seeking out his crippled son Mephibosheth after his death and taking care of him all his life.

4.   Mentors

      Examples include Moses and his father in law Jethro; Moses and his servant Joshua; Elijah and Elisha; and Paul and Timothy. Typically, your mentor usually has walked where you are walking now. He has also reached where you are aspiring to be.

5.  A good and supportive spouse

          We have Aquila and Pricilla in the Bible. Acts 18:28.

6.  Workers

Namaan the Syrian was surrounded by good and helpful servants starting from the young Hebrew servant who told him about Elisha the man of God that healed people in Israel. All the way to the servants that persuaded him to take a bath in the Jordan River when pride almost made him to loose  his miracle.

 7. Good broadcasters

You have people like the chief butler to Pharaoh who tooted Joseph’s horn, telling the king how good he was at interpreting dreams. As a result, Joseph was brought from prison to the palace and became a prime minister within 24 hours. Genesis 41:9, 43.

Prayer: O Lord raise a voice for me where I have no voice, in the name of Jesus.

  8. Good Pastors and men of God
God raised a helper for Cornelius and his family through Peter.  Acts 10:1-48. He raised a helper for Apollo in Priscilla and Aquilla. Acts 18:26, 16:3

1. Powers that have locked up my divine helpers, release them now and die.
2. Powers that have rendered my divine helpers unavailable to me, die by fire. 

FACTS ABOUT DIVINE HELP AND HELPERS

From 2 Kings 5, the Bible passage given at the beginning of this exhortation and other scriptures, some facts about divine help and helpers stand out as follows:

1.    Everyone needs a helper

      Namaan was an influential man with power and money yet there was an area of his life where he desperately needed help.

2.  God often sends helpers from unexpected places

We should not limit God to our own puny understanding. His ways and His thoughts are much higher than ours. Isaiah 55: 8-9.  Help for the Namaan, came through a little foreign slave girl. So, do not put God in a box by dictating to Him how help should come. For some a previously wicked boss suddenly turn into an angel that is used by God to move their lives forward. For Joseph, it came from first Potiphar and later from Pharaoh the king of Egypt.

For Esther, an orphan girl in Persia, help came from the Hegai, the keeper of the women. Esther 2:8-9.

3.    Know for sure that God has a helper available to help you

This is true even in the most difficult situations.  Jeremiah 32:17. He makes a way where there is no way. 

4.    Know that it is not every help that you can accept. 2 Kings 5:15-16.

A helper may be available and even appear to be timely and from God. I cannot over emphasis the need for you to still seek the face of the Lord to confirm that the help is indeed from Him. Failure to do so, can make you accept help that will pollute your destiny and cause a lot of problems for you. Please do not allow carelessness, desperation, and putting your trust in man, make you to go and carry another man’s load. Evil load could be sickness, untimely death, demotion, or loss and destruction, because you failed to ask God.  Always remember that all that glitters, is not gold.  A counselee offered to give a pastor a huge monthly allowance for her personal use. The pastor saw the sister as a wonderful sister and did not bother to ask God. She later found out that the sister was part of a satanic network that wanted to pull her and her ministry down. The money was intended to pollute her life and her anointing and to run her insane.  A sister’s ex-spouse offered her a car. It appeared to be a good gesture but the Lord told her not to accept it because it was bewitched and would be her coffin. 

Prayer: O Lord, open my eyes that I may see; my ears that I may hear; and my heart that I may be able to perceive things your way. 

5. You can miss your divine helper. Luke 22:10-11

It is possible for you to miss your divine helper. This can easily happen, if you are not properly located.  Maybe you are living in a demonic house that is a graveyard, swallowing everything that God has ordained for you.  Or it could be that you are in the wrong church, a dead church where the Holy Ghost is not welcome. God’s angels have been “programmed” out of that place. They have wonderful programs but the power and the presence of God is not present there. It could also be because you are not plugged to God’s frequency. Your antenna are off. There is a disconnect. You cannot see what God wants you to see; hear what God wants you to hear; or perceive what God wants you to perceive. If you desire to be connected back to God, why not cry out to Him from the bottom of your heart? Say:

1.    Holy Ghost plug me to the socket of the Almighty, in the name of Jesus.

2.    My Father, if I have missed my divine helpers, please bring them back, in the name of Jesus.

6. You can drive away your helpers

You can be your own worst enemy by antagonizing your God ordained helpers.  This will make them to run away from you. Therefore, you should watch your attitude and nurture your relationships with others.  

     Prayers
     1. Mercy of God speak for me if I have alienated my divine helpers. 
     2. My Father and my God, if I have chased away my divine helpers, please bring              them back, in the name of Jesus.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING HELPERS?

1.    Helpers help you to lessen the burdens that you face in life.
      Two heads they say are better than one. In the multitude of counselors there is safety. 
2.   Having helpers allows you to move faster in life toward attaining your God given goals.

      3.  Having helpers brings recovery of things that you have lost. 

      Job in the Bible enjoyed this. Job 42:11. Another is the Egyptian boy that helped David to recover all from the Amalekites. 1 Samuel 30:11-19.

4.    It facilitates your ability to do great things for God.

5.    Good helpers help you to take advantage of good opportunities. 
     This was the case with Apollo whom Priscilla and Aquila took under their wings. Acts 18:26.

6.    Shame and reproach free life

Good helpers can prevent you from being put to shame and disgraced.

Prayer: O Lord, arise and connect me to my divine helpers today, in the name of Jesus.

           

            ENEMIES OF YOUR HELPERS

There are powers that gang up against those that God has empowered and ordained to help you.  They want to paralyze them so they are so busy putting out fires in their own lives and homes that they will not be in a position to help you as God had ordained. These enemies included the following: 

1.    Foundational powers

    These include ancestral spirits and household witchcraft powers.

2.  Wicked Men (Jeremiah 5:25-26, Acts 16:25-40)

These include envious men and women.

3.    The devil and his agents

 The devil does not want anything good for anybody.

4.   Environmental factors such as a demonic environment.       

5.  Satanic intermediaries such as enchanters and diviners.

6.   Witchcraft powers

9.   Household wickedness powers

10. Familiar spirits

Prayers

1.    Let the powers that have locked up my divine helpers release them now and die.

2.    My divine helpers in the valley of witchcraft, come out now.

MODUS OPERANDI OF THE ENEMIES OF YOUR HELPERS

The enemy does not want you to be connected to your divine helpers so he puts obstacles on the way. We will now look at how he does this.

1.    Puts blocker spirits to ensure that you do not get to see your helper.

      For example, had Joseph agreed to sleep with Potiphar’s wife, he would not have met the chief butler. This would have prevented him from being prime minister.

Prayer: Holy Ghost remove all barriers separating from my helpers.

2.  Enemies of your helpers push you to offend your helpers so no help comes   

     your way again.

3.    Enemies of your helpers prevent you from seeing helpers

They are right by you but you fail to see or to recognize them.

4.    Enemies of your helpers put your potential helpers in a position where they can no longer help you. For example, cause them to lose their job or wealth.

     5.    Enemies of your helpers kill your helpers prematurely

This often happens at the brink of their helping you. Some even promise to help the next day and never get to see that day.

Prayer: Any power, anywhere, assigned to be killing my helpers, your time is up, die, in the name of Jesus.

HOW DO YOU GET CONNECTED TO YOUR HELPERS?

God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy.  It is not by our power, it is not by our might.  It is by the Spirit of God and the grace of God. However, there are certain qualities that we can cultivate and certain things that we can do that can magnetize helpers to us. These include the following:

     

1.    Favor with God and man will draw helpers to you.

     Get to know God and He will connect you to your helpers.

2.  Pray (Hebrews 4:16)

     Ask God for help through prayers.

3. The word of God

Locate the appropriate scripture for your need and apply it to your situation. The word of God is sharper than a two edged sword.  It can do all things such as healing, deliverance, and provision.

4. Revelation (Luke 22:10-11)

Ask God to open your eyes to see your helpers. God sent helpers when the Syrians came to arrest Elisha.  Elisha saw them but his servant did not see them until Elisha asked God to open his eyes to see. Revelation will always put you at the right place at the right time. God can give you a revelation that will connect you to your divine helpers. Almost all the jobs that I did as an accountant were directly and clearly given to me through direct revelations from God. My battle with seven years of barrenness came to an end when God by revelation led me all the way from America to a church in West Africa for help. I carried my baby nine months later

5.    Be humble and approachable (2 Kings 5:13)

      This will ensure that you do not miss your opportunities to be helped. Naaman’s servants found him approachable hence they were able to advise him to obey the instructions of the prophet Elisha to go and wash in the River Jordan. Even the mistress of the little Hebrew slave must have been approachable for her to have been able to tell her about Elisha, the prophet in Israel, that could heal her husband.

6.    Faith is needed for you to be connected to your divine helpers

      You need the kind of childlike faith that the Hebrew girl had. 2 Kings 5:3. Faith is needed to receive anything from God and His representatives.  2 Chronicles 20:20. You have to believe the word of God.  Not only that, you have to act based on your faith. This is why the bible says that faith without works is dead. James 2:26. Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus put it in an even simpler way:

“Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” John 2:5.

We have several examples of faith in action in the Bible.

a.    Jesus instructed Peter to get money from the mouth of a fish. Peter did and the money was there. Matthew 17:24-27.

b.    Jesus while walking on the water asked His apostles to join Him by walking on the water.  Only Peter tried and he successfully walked on water without sinking until his faith waned. Matthew 14:26-31,

c.    At the wedding in Cana, Jesus asked them to fill up the water pots and then begin serving it as wine.  As they took the water from the pots and served them by faith, the water turned to wine. John 2:7-10.

7.    Holy Spirit’s involvement is needed to guide you.

The Holy Spirit’s involvement will put you at the same frequency as God. Without His involvement you can make mistakes such as going to the wrong person or place for help. For example, Naaman went to the wrong person for help.  He went to the king of Israel who was not equipped to help him for help.  He needed to go to Elisha the prophet who was the healer in Israel and not the king.  2 Kings 5:6-7.

Prayer: O Lord, help me to be at the right place at the right time always. 

8. The anointing of God upon your life will also magnetize helpers to you. 

           

Prayer: Anointing to be connected to my helpers, fall upon me now, in the name of Jesus.

9. Through prophetic declaration

Help from the scorching famine in Israel came when the prophet Elisha prophesied that there would be 24-hour miracle of abundance in the land. 2 King 7:1-18.

10.    Follow peace with all men (1 Peter 4:9, Hebrew 13:2)

You should follow peace with all me because you do not know who the Lord will use to help and lift you up.

PRAYERS

1. Thank God for His power to deliver to the uttermost.

3. After the order of Daniel, O God arise and raise helpers for me.

4. Angels of the Living God, search through the land of the living and the dead and bring my divine helpers to me.

5. Wasters of opportunities assigned against my life, die, in the name of Jesus.

6. Evil marks keeping helpers away from me, be washed away by the blood of Jesus.

7. Evil smell keeping helpers away from me be sanitized by the fragrance of Jesus and the blood of Jesus.

8. Every curse under which I am laboring, break and release me now, by the power in the blood of Jesus.

9. Every witchcraft agent scaring away my helpers, die, in the name

of Jesus.

10. Every robber of favor, die in the name of Jesus.

11. Every power dragging me to where my angels of blessings cannot not locate me, die, in the name of Jesus.

12. O Lord, let me find favor, compassion, and loving kindness with my helpers, the name

of Jesus.

13. O Lord, arise and raise helpers for me in your own way, in Jesus name.

14. Every satanic siren scarring away my helpers, be silenced by fire, in the name of Jesus.

15. All demonic obstacles that have been established in the heart of my helpers be destroyed in the name of Jesus.

16. Father, let all my proposals find favor in the sight of my helpers, in the name of Jesus.

17. O Lord lead me to those who will bless me, in the name of Jesus.

18. Continue to thank God for His answers to your prayers with the song, 
     "Be thou exalted O Lord above the heavens, Let your glory be above all the earth."
