INTRODUCTION
Pollution is the physical or
spiritual contamination of a person, a thing, or a place. A name, destiny, marriage, a business, a
career, and even a ministry can be polluted. Body organs can be polluted also. Cities can be polluted like the city of
Jericho was before the prophet Elisha cleaned it up. 2
Kings 2:19-22. The problem of pollution is very serious as far as God is
concerned. When a person is polluted spiritually
God turns His face away from such a person, until the person is cleaned up. This is what happened to Joshua the High
Priest in our scripture reading in Zechariah
3:1-5. He was spiritually polluted
and as a result could not stand in God’s presence until the angel of God took
off his polluted clothes. Pollution
also gives the devil a legal ground, an open door, to come in to kill, steal,
and destroy.
WHAT IS POLLUTION?
Pollution is:

14. To corrupt. That is to change from God’s original state,
purpose, use, or way.

WHY POLLUTION?
Satan is behind pollution
for the following reasons:

To separate a person from God.
2.
To carry out his agenda of killing, stealing, and
destroying. John 10:10.
3.
To alter the original purpose for which God created a person or
thing.
4.
To plant problems and afflictions in people’s lives. He could plant cancer, insanity, or
fibroid. Matthew 13:25.
5.
To hinder and block prayers.
6.
To weaken a person spiritually.
Prayer: Every effort of the enemy to weaken my prayer life, die,

7. To waste colorful destinies.
8. To abort breakthroughs.
9. To introduce
uncontrollable urges such as sexual immorality through dog bites in the dream.
